This evening, we have a Chief Guest, who has truly versatile personality. He has passion for music, he is Dance & Music connoisseur, he is Art appreciator, he is concert-organizer, he is innovative Industrialist and above all, he is a sportsman!


In the field of music, Mr Pramod Joshi is a real connoisseur, a Rasik. As the proverbial, "No Maifal" is complete without his grace. His "Kya Baat Hai" & "Bahoot Khoob" is inspiring to the Artists on stage and Rasiks in the hall, too ! I have personally seen that most of the Artists insist that he sits right opposite so that they receive his vibrations, his response, his positive gestures, his applause & his acknowledgements. Many Artists have told me that so long that they don't listen his "Kya Baat Hai", they don't feel "complete".

As concert-organizer, he has been active in Large Hall-Concerts as well as house-concerts. His concerts are innovative, thematic, pure classical and yet highly entertaining. Malhar Aavishkar concert is expression of Malhar Raag thr medium of Vocal, Instrument and Dance forms. Nine concerts spanning over 15 hours are enjoyed by thousands of Pune Rasiks, over last 12 years. His thematic concerts included : Ek Pariwar… Ek Malhar, Yuva Jugal, Miya Biwika Malhar & this year its Karnatak Malhar! What's more relevant is that along with established artists, he presents young and talented artists of different Gharanas and Dance-schools. Two years back, Malhar Aavishkar included Seven Jugalbandis of Young Artists. Audience simply reveled in Jugalbandi Bharat Natyam & Odissi dancers ! His house-concerts i.e. Baithak provides close rapport between artist and audience. Guru Manisha Sathe was delighted to perform Kathak & Marathi Lavani in his bungalow and Pt Bhimsen Joshi rendered Bhajan-Concert, way back in 1977!

Mr Joshi's concerts are complimentary for connoisseurs, free for all!

He also felicitates and give Awards to Dance & Music Scholars. It's token of his deep respect for their valuable contribution. He gives due recognition for their scholastic work.

He has launched the website, with monthly visits of 60,000 : www.malharaavishkar.com It's first website for single concert : Malhar Aavishkar. It includes Global Calendar of Classy Concerts. This weekly-calendar gives concert-information for connoisseurs all over the world. The web site also includes Concert Reviews. He appoints learned authors to write reviews. He also appoints photographers for pictorial reviews.

Paris based, International Dance Council, United Nations Organization, has conferred Honorary Membership on Mr Joshi for internet promotion of Classical Dance.

He had planned Medi-Claim Heath Insurance Scheme for Classical Artists. Detailed scheme is approved by large body of connoisseurs and numbers of Donors & Contributors. The corpse of abt Rs 1 Mn was committed. We could pay premium for 100 artists ! He had also promoted association of music-organizers.

Friends, Mr Pramod Joshi is equally innovative in his profession. As an engineer & entrepreneur, He has developed automatic machine for mass production of Chapattis & Rotis. He has technical patent. Pilot plant produces abt 2 lakh chapattis per day. Institutional clients include Railways, Defense, Hospitals & Industries. He is now developing machines to produce 10 lakh chapattis a day. He has promoted public limited company to implement the pioneering project : The Staple Foods (India ) Ltd. He is the Chairman & Managing Director. He has built-up huge brand equity for Ru*Ru Rotis !

Last but not in the least, Friends, Mr Joshi is Athlete par excellence, for 30 years. He is long distance Runner, he runs 12 kilometers every morning. He did more than 10 Marathons over the years. He also swims 1000 meters every evening !
